Three people, including a woman, were killed and 29 others injured after the bus they were travelling in overturned due to a collision by a speeding truck in the Katni district of Madhya Pradesh on Sunday.
A girl among the several injured passengers was critical. Swas admitted to the Jabalpur Medical College hospital.

According to the police, the mishap occurred near the Industrial Area bridge under Kuthla police station limits when the bus, carrying around 35 passengers, was travelling from Katni to Vijayraghavgarh Kymore, while the truck was coming from the opposite direction.
As per Katni Superintendent of Police Abhinav Vishwakarma, the truck possibly suffered a brake failure. It first hit a car, and then the private passenger bus before finally ramming into a bridge.
The bus overturned due to the severe impact and passengers were trapped inside and below it.
A Crane had to be called in to lift the bus and pull out the stuck passengers.
The deceased were identified as Kishan Kol (30), Neelam Prajapati (26), and Raju Choudhary (26).
